Adrian Morgan from Baton Rouge forced world champion eater Sonya Thomas to an eat-off at the Rouses World Championship Crawfish Eating Contest.

Both Morgan and Thomas ate 3 1/4 pounds of crawfish within 10 minutes leading to a tie.  Sonya won the eat-off and took home the $2,000 prize. Her winning secret – she ate the shells, legs and all!

The world famous Michelin restaurant guide awarded another 21 inexpensive, neighborhood-favorite eateries “Bib Gourmand” status Wednesday.

There are now 95 restaurants in the city with the revered designation, which is given to restaurants that serve two courses and a glass of wine or dessert for $40 or less, Michelin said Tuesday.

Flushing’s Sichuan sizzler Little Pepper, Greenpoint’s brick-oven pizzeria Paulie Gee’s, Rego Park’s Taiwanese outpost Andy’s Seafood & Grill, and Brooklyn Heights’ Jack the Horse Tavern were all among the new tasty picks.
